- What is KAIRA?
- KAIRA (Karlsruhe Intelligent Robotics Association) is a student robotics club at KIT in Karlsruhe, Germany. Members build real robots and intelligent machines. We also connect aspiring robotics founders and PhDs with founders and investors who have already been there.
- Who can join KAIRA?
- Anyone can apply, and you don't need a robotics background. Membership means active, regular participation in person, so we're mainly looking for people who live in Karlsruhe or can be here regularly. Students, recent graduates, PhDs, and aspiring founders are all welcome.
- When does the first batch start?
- Our first batch starts in November 2026. Applications are open until 9 November 2026, 23:59 (CET). Interviews take place from 11 to 14 November, and new members start with our onboarding week from 16 to 20 November.
- Where is KAIRA based?
- We're based in Karlsruhe, Germany, at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
- What do members work on?
- Real robotics and AI projects, from our flagship build to smaller focused tracks. You work alongside a community of builders, founders, and researchers.
- How do I join?
